2025/26 Ghana Premier League Match Report: Black Magicians work their Magic on Vision FC in Swedru

Swedru All Blacks continued their upward heroism in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League with a composed 2–0 victory over Vision FC in Sunday afternoon’s Match week 14 clash at the Swedru Sports Stadium.

Goals in either side of the break from Clement Tutu and an unfortunate own goal were enough to hand the hosts all three points, as the Black Magicians, also known as Ozii Ozaa produced a disciplined display to keep their recent revival firmly on track.

Buoyed by a steady run of results in recent weeks, Swedru All Blacks started with confidence, enjoying slightly more of the ball and probing patiently for openings against a Vision FC side set up to frustrate.

Their persistence paid off four minutes before the halftime when midfielder Clement Tutu broke the deadlock in the 41st minute. The midfielder nick the opener calmly, sending the home crowd into celebration and giving All Blacks a deserved lead heading into the break.

Vision FC emerged with greater urgency in the second half, but their hopes of a comeback were dealt a heavy blow in the 56th minute. Under pressure, Dreams FC midfielder David Ofori inadvertently turned the ball into his own net, doubling All Blacks’s advantage and swinging the spark firmly in the  Ozii Ozaa’s favour.

With a two-goal cushion, Swedru All Blacks managed the game intelligently, recycling possession and limiting Vision FC to speculative efforts. The Eewoo enjoyed spells of late pressure, but the Ozii Ozaa backline stood resolute to preserve a clean sheet.

Swedru finished the match with 54 percent possession, while Vision FC accounted for the remaining 46 percent, a reflection of a competitive but ultimately controlled home performance.

The victory sees Swedru All Blacks extend their solid run to three wins, two draws and just one defeat in their last six league matches. The result lifts them into ninth place on the Premier League table with 18 points, further easing any relegation concerns and underlining their growing consistency.

For Vision FC, the defeat stalls their progress. Coach Nana Agyemang’s side now sit 15th on the league log with 15 points after 14 matches, having recorded three wins, six draws and five defeats. Despite late pressure, they were left to rue missed opportunities and moments of misfortune.
