Ghana’s Under-15 Boys’ Table Tennis Team recorded a commanding 3-1 victory over their Cameroonian counterparts in a thrilling encounter.

The team’s success was led by a stellar performance from Israel Aklie, who delivered two straight-set wins—first against Ndzelen Maxwell (12-10, 11-4, 11-6) and then against Bailina Valengy (11-6, 18-16, 11-1).

Hamza Issah also played a pivotal role in the triumph, dispatching Ndzelen Maxsmith with a convincing 3-0 win (11-9, 11-4, 11-6).

Despite Prince Aklie narrowly losing a five-set battle to Bailina Valengy (11-6, 6-11, 11-9, 10-12, 11-13), the team’s overall dominance ensured a well-deserved victory.

This result highlights the rising calibre of Ghana’s youth table tennis contingent and bodes well for their upcoming fixtures on the continental stage.
