Parin FC Held to Goalless Draw by African Kings in ANDFA Clash

Parin FC were forced to settle for a share of the spoils after a pulsating yet goalless encounter with fierce rivals African Kings in their second fixture of the Accra North District Football Association (ANDFA) competition at the Alajo Astro Turf.

Eager to bounce back from their opening defeat to Decide FC, Parin FC approached the match with renewed determination and attacking intent. They dominated possession for large spells and fashioned several promising opportunities in front of goal. However, a combination of wasteful finishing and resolute defending from African Kings ensured the deadlock remained unbroken after 90 minutes.

Despite the stalemate, there were standout individual performances, with young Raphael Tetteh earning the Man of the Match award following an impressive display marked by composure, energy, and creativity.

Parin FC had begun their campaign on a disappointing note, suffering a narrow 2–1 defeat to Decide FC in their opening match. Samuel Clinton Amponsah scored the consolation goal in that encounter, but it proved insufficient to salvage a result.

The team will now turn their attention to their final group fixture against Bendee FC, scheduled to take place at the same venue on Sunday at 12 noon, where they will be hoping to secure a crucial victory to boost their standing in the competition.
