Dr Lawrence Tetteh, founder of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach, has called on Ghana’s new Black Stars coach to consider recalling Andre “Dede” Ayew to the national team ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

The respected cleric believes the experienced forward still has a vital role to play for Ghana, praising his commitment, leadership and unwavering passion whenever he represents the Black Stars.

“We should get Dede Ayew into the Black Stars team. He plays with all his might and I believe he carries his father’s spirit,” Dr Tetteh said, referring to Ghana legend Abedi Pele.

He further argued that Ayew’s presence could prove invaluable to Ghana’s World Cup ambitions, highlighting the forward’s experience and strong mentality as key assets in high-pressure tournaments.

According to him, integrating seasoned figures like Ayew alongside emerging talents could strengthen squad balance and increase Ghana’s chances of making a deep run on the global stage.
