Cameroonian shot-stopper, Andre Onana will join his teammates for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament on January 15 after his clubs premier league clash against Tottenham Hotspur on January 14.
The agreement was between Manchester United and the Cameroonian Football Association (CFA) following the role he plays at the club.
Onana, 27, had not enjoyed a good start this season but confident he can help his side cruise over their opponents, Tottenham Hotspur.
Cameroon is currently camped in Saudi Arabia as players were being taken through series of training sessions to get them ready for the task ahead.
The five-time champions are paired with Gambia, Guinea and Senegal in Group C.
