Ghanaian forward Daniel Afriyieh Barnieh made an immediate impact off the bench for FC Aarau, scoring a dramatic late equaliser despite his side eventually suffering a narrow 3–2 defeat to FC Vaduz.
Barnieh was introduced in the 83rd minute with Aarau reduced to 10 men and trailing by a goal.
