Ghanaian international Bernard Mensah has completed a move to UAE Pro League side Al Nasr Club after spending the 2024/25 season with Saudi Arabian outfit Al Riyadh.

The 24-year-old midfielder enjoyed a solid campaign in Saudi Arabia, making 29 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals and providing four assists. His vision, ball control and ability to dictate play in midfield made him a standout performer for Al Riyadh, attracting interest from several clubs in the Gulf region before Al Nasr secured his signature.

Mensah, who began his professional career in Europe with Portuguese giants Vitória Guimarães, has also played for Atlético Madrid, Getafe and Kasimpasa, as well as enjoying a successful spell with Turkish side Kayserispor, where he captained the team.

Capped by Ghana at senior level, he is regarded as a technically gifted and versatile midfielder capable of operating both in a deeper playmaking role and in advanced positions. His move to Al Nasr is seen as a significant addition to the club’s ambitions in the UAE Pro League this season.

Speaking on the transfer, Al Nasr’s management expressed their delight:

“We are very excited to welcome Bernard Mensah to Al Nasr. He is a player of great quality and experience, and we believe he will make a big impact on our team as we aim for success in the new season.”
