Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah has revealed his long-term ambitions of breaking into the Black Stars and pursuing a career in Europe, while also targeting the prestigious Ghana Premier League (GPL) Goal King award.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Akoma 87.9 FM, Amoah expressed confidence in his future but admitted that hard work and teamwork would be crucial to realising his dreams.

“In the next five years, I see myself playing for the Black Stars and also making a move to Europe. I will be very glad to win the GPL Goal King, but I know I cannot achieve that without the support of my teammates and consistent hard work in training,” he said.

Amoah has been in fine form this season, notably scoring the decisive goal that ended Kotoko’s 15-year winless run against Berekum Chelsea at the weekend. His performance has already caught the attention of fans and pundits, with many tipping him as one of the league’s brightest prospects.

With his eye firmly on personal milestones and national recognition, Amoah believes that sustained dedication and the backing of his teammates will be key to taking his career to the next level.
