Ambassador Kotia Welcomes Ghanaian Students on European Exchange
More than 100 Ghanaian students taking part in Edibeck Consult’s cultural exchange summer camp and educational tour across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France have paid a courtesy call on Ghana’s Ambassador to the Netherlands, His Excellency Francis Danti Kotia, at his residence in Wassenaar.
The visit was designed to provide the students with valuable insights into diplomacy, international relations, and the work of Ghana’s diplomatic missions abroad. Ambassador Kotia commended Edibeck Consult for spearheading such an impactful initiative and urged the creation of more opportunities that expose young Ghanaians to the global stage.
During the engagement, the students were briefed on the functions of the Ghana Embassy, the significance of diplomacy in fostering international cooperation, and Ghana’s active role in international organisations. They also interacted with members of the diplomatic staff, gaining first-hand exposure to potential career pathways in international relations and public service.
Ambassador Kotia encouraged the students to serve as worthy ambassadors of Ghana wherever they go, embodying national pride while embracing global citizenship. The students, in turn, expressed profound gratitude for the opportunity and departed with renewed enthusiasm to contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s development.
Now in its sixth year, the Edibeck Consult summer exchange programme continues to promote education, cultural exchange and youth empowerment between Ghana and the Netherlands. Both the Embassy and Edibeck Consult have been urged to sustain and expand this collaborative initiative.
