Today, in the Philippine capital and on the sidelines of the Volleyball World Championship, a partnership and cooperation agreement was signed between the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the Arab Volleyball Federation. The agreement aims to officially recognize and organize Arab tournaments under joint supervision, thereby enhancing the status of Arab volleyball and granting it wider international recognition.

The signing ceremony was attended by FIVB President Fabio Azevedo, First Vice President Marty Hoffiz, Arab Volleyball Federation President Sheikh Ali Al Khalifa, Princess Aya bint Abdullah bin Al Hussein, member of the FIVB Board of Administration, and Bouchra Hajij, FIVB Vice President and Vice President of the Arab Federation.
