Asante Kotoko shot-stopper Mohammed Camara has received a call-up to the Guinea senior men’s national team ahead of their upcoming international friendly matches against Togo and Niger.

The talented goalkeeper has been in impressive form for the Porcupine Warriors since joining the club, producing several commanding performances in the Ghana Premier League. His consistency between the posts has not gone unnoticed, earning him recognition from the technical handlers of the Syli Nationale.

Camara is expected to join the Guinea squad this week as they begin preparations for the international break. The double-header of friendlies will serve as part of the team’s build-up towards future competitive fixtures, including continental engagements.

His call-up comes as a major boost for Asante Kotoko, reinforcing the growing reputation of the club’s young squad and the quality of talent within the Ghana Premier League.

The friendlies will offer Camara a valuable opportunity to compete at the highest level and strengthen his claim for a permanent place in the national setup.
