Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko have stated that the club will take legal ways to help Nicholas Mensah save his career after the Disciplinary Committee’s ruling last Friday.

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association dismissed a case against Asante Kotoko by Aduana Stars for using an unqualified player for their Match Day 10 encounter at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park at Dormaa Ahenkro.

After the game ended 0-0, the league leaders summoned the defending champions to the Disciplinary Committee of the FA to using a player who had different identities.

The DC, after its rigourous investigation, did not only dismissed the case but also ruled that Nicholas Mensah’s registration is nullified and cannot feature for Asante Kotoko until further notice.

However, Asante Kotoko have instructed their lawyers to help the player, who is 19 years old, throughout this debacle and give him the psychological backing.
