Bawah Fuseini Confirmed As Director of National Sports College, Winneba

Bawah Fuseini has been appointed Director of the National Sports College, Winneba, following approval by H.E. John Dramani Mahama and confirmation by the Public Services Commission.

 

His appointment marks a significant development for the College, which serves as Ghana’s premier institution for the training and development of coaches, physical education teachers and sports administrators.

Fuseini brings to the role extensive experience in sports administration and technical development. Over the years, he has contributed to the growth of sports at both grassroots and national levels, earning recognition for his commitment to discipline, professionalism and capacity building within the sector.

As Director, he is expected to oversee the strategic direction of the College, strengthen academic and technical programmes, and enhance partnerships with key stakeholders in Ghana’s sporting ecosystem. His leadership is also anticipated to support ongoing efforts to modernise infrastructure and improve training standards in line with international best practice.

The National Sports College, Winneba, plays a vital role in nurturing talent and equipping sports professionals with the requisite skills to drive Ghana’s sporting ambitions. Mr Fuseini’s appointment comes at a time when renewed focus is being placed on sports development as a tool for youth empowerment and national progress.
