Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani Goldstars have abrogated their contract with Frimpong Manso with immediate effect.

The decision to part ways with the experienced tactician comes after a defeat to JS Kabylie at the Accra Sports Stadium in the CAF Champions League last weekend.

The Bibiani-based outfit suffered a 2-0 home defeat to the Algerian club in their debut campaign in the CAF Champions League.

Manso, a former Kotoko defender, took charge of Gold Stars two seasons ago and guided them to a historic first-ever league title last season.

He commenced the ongoing season’s campaign on a bright note, leading them to a 2-1 win over Bechem United on the Premier League opening games.
