Black Queens Announce 26-Player Squad for Pink Cup as 2026 WAFCON Preparations Intensify

The Ghana women’s national football team have announced a 26-player squad for the upcoming Pink Cup tournament as part of their preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The Pink Cup will provide the technical team with a valuable opportunity to assess the squad’s depth, fine-tune tactics and build cohesion ahead of the continental showpiece. The squad features a blend of experienced internationals and emerging talents drawn from clubs across Europe, North America and Africa.

Among the notable inclusions are captain Portia Boakye, midfield dynamo Grace Asantewaa, forward Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah and the highly-rated Evelyn Badu, alongside several home-based standouts.
