CAF Confederations Cup:Dreams fc secures vital away win

Ghana’s Dreams FC defeated Academica de Lobito 3-2 in round 3 of the CAF Confederations Cup group stage at the Estadio de November in Angola.

 

Dreams FC recorded their second win in the CAF Confederations Cup group stage after a 2-0 loss to Club Africain and a 2-1 win over Rivers United.

 

Abdul Aziz Issah, John Antwi and Aholou Avocevou scored for Dreams FC on the 10th, 58th and 88th minutes respectively whiles Academica de Lobito’s goals came from Nelo on the 14th minute and Cachimbombo in added on time of the second half.

 

Dreams FC’s John Antwi emerged as Man Of the Match with a rating of 8.7.

 

Dreams FC are now third in group D of the CAF Confederations Cup with 6 points just as Club Africain and Rivers United with a goal difference of 3 being the difference maker in terms of positions.

 

Dreams FC’s will play their next CAF Confederations Cup group stage game against Academica Petroleos on Wednesday, December 20 at 4pm.
