The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Licence A Coaching Course is currently underway at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, bringing together a select group of elite coaches from across Ghana.

The intensive 10-day programme is designed to enhance the technical and tactical expertise of participants, equipping them with advanced knowledge in modern football methodology. The course covers key areas including contemporary tactical systems, structured player development pathways, performance analysis, sports science integration, leadership and communication skills, as well as effective match preparation and in-game management.

Delivered by accredited CAF instructors, the programme combines classroom-based theoretical sessions with practical on-pitch training modules, ensuring a balanced and comprehensive learning experience. Participants are also being assessed through practical demonstrations, group work, and strategic planning exercises aimed at preparing them for the highest levels of coaching within the African game.

The CAF Licence A qualification represents a significant milestone in a coach’s professional development pathway, serving as a prerequisite for top-tier coaching roles at both club and national levels. The ongoing course at Prampram underscores Ghana’s commitment to raising coaching standards and strengthening technical capacity within its football ecosystem.
