The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the full list of winners for the 2025 CAF Awards, honouring outstanding performers, teams, and contributors to the development of African football.

 

Major Award Winners

African Player of the Year: Achraf Hakimi (Morocco)

African Female Player of the Year: Ghizlane Chebbak (Morocco)

Interclubs Player of the Year: Fiston Mayele (DR Congo)

Goalkeeper of the Year: Yassine Bounou (Morocco)

Female Goalkeeper of the Year: Chiamaka Nnadozie (Nigeria)

Young Player of the Year: Othmane Maamma (Morocco)

Young Female Player of the Year: Doha El Madani (Morocco)

Coach of the Year: Bubista (Cape Verde)

Men’s Team of the Year: Morocco U-20

Women’s Team of the Year: Nigeria

Club of the Year: Pyramids FC (Egypt)

Refereeing Excellence

CAF Best Men’s Referee of the Year: Omar Artan (Somalia)

CAF Best Women’s Referee of the Year: Shamirah Nabadda (Uganda)

CAF Outstanding Awards

Three Heads of State were honoured for their significant contributions to the advancement and development of football across the continent:

H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of Uganda

Their recognition reflects CAF’s appreciation of national-level support for football infrastructure, youth development, and policy initiatives that strengthen the sport across Africa.
