Ghana international Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah has been crowned Foreign-Based Female Footballer of the Year at the 2025 Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards held in Accra.

The Black Queens forward, who has enjoyed an outstanding season with her club abroad, was celebrated for her consistency, technical quality and key contributions at both club and national levels. Her performances in the past year have cemented her status as one of Ghana’s most reliable attacking talents.

The ceremony, which marked SWAG’s Golden Jubilee edition, brought together leading sports personalities, administrators, diplomats and government officials to honour distinguished Ghanaian athletes across various disciplines.
