Reports indicate that Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has presented a detailed 19-point list of conditions to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as part of negotiations over a potential contract extension.
According to sources, the proposals cover a wide range of logistical, administrative and financial matters aimed at strengthening the technical set-up and improving the overall working environment of the national team.
Among the key requests are the provision of a private SUV with a chauffeur and security detail, suitable accommodation in a secure area with uninterrupted power supply, and a fully furnished office equipped with modern analytical tools and reliable internet access.
The coach is also said to have asked for travel arrangements for his immediate family, including business-class tickets for himself and his wife, with economy-class tickets for their two children. Additional logistical provisions reportedly include GPS support and the supply of adequate technical equipment in line with his professional requirements.
On footballing matters, Chelle is understood to have requested greater autonomy in scheduling international friendly matches, particularly in selecting opponents, as well as the implementation of structured camping programmes. He has also proposed initiating youth development schemes and outlined plans to travel extensively to monitor Nigerian players abroad and within the domestic league, with the aim of integrating suitable talents into the senior team and age-grade sides.
A key element of the reported demands is a clause guaranteeing no interference in team selection or player call-ups. Furthermore, he is said to have asked the NFF to issue formal contracts to his technical staff, ensure salaries are paid on or before the 30th of each month, and maintain bonuses and allowances in accordance with the federation’s established structure.

The proposal allegedly includes a monthly salary of $130,000, covering his entire technical team and personal assistant, as well as a request for his personal assistant to be included in the federation’s bonus and allowance framework. Chelle is also believed to have proposed monthly coordination meetings with all national team coaches to foster alignment and strategic planning across all levels.
The NFF has yet to issue an official statement regarding the reported conditions.
