Eric Nyarko, the former Hearts of Oak midfielder who played a pivotal role in the club’s historic 2004 CAF Confederation Cup triumph, is making a strong impression in his new role as head coach of PARIN FC, a Division Three side based in Tantra Hills in Accra’s North District.

Nyarko, who was part of the famed Hearts of Oak squad that dominated both domestic and continental football in the early 2000s, has overseen an outstanding start to the season with PARIN FC. In their first 10 league matches, the club has recorded an impressive eight wins, one draw and just one defeat, a run that has propelled them to the top of Zone Two of the Division Three League standings.

Under his guidance, PARIN FC have emerged as one of the most exciting teams in the division, scoring an eye-catching 30 goals while conceding 14. The team’s attacking flair, combined with growing tactical discipline, has drawn praise from local football observers and positioned the club as strong contenders for promotion.

Nyarko’s early success is widely attributed to his ability to blend youthful talent with his vast experience at the highest level of Ghanaian and African football. Known for his leadership and deep understanding of the game, he has instilled confidence and a clear playing philosophy in his players, many of whom are competing at this level for the first time.

As the season progresses, expectations are rising around PARIN FC, with fans and stakeholders hopeful that Nyarko’s influence could steer the club towards a historic promotion and further cement his growing reputation as one of the promising young coaches in Ghana’s lower divisions.
