EXCLUSIVE: Dreams FC Assistant Coach Fiifi Parker Hanson Steps Down
Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC have been hit by another shake-up in their technical department following the resignation of assistant coach Fiifi Parker Hanson, who has stepped down from his role for personal reasons, sportsnetgh source close to the club have confirmed.
Parker Hanson’s exit represents a major blow to the ‘Still Believe’ club and comes shortly after the departure of Abdul Karim Zito, who has taken up the head coaching position at Asante Kotoko.
Following Zito’s exit, Dreams FC promoted Winfred Dormon to the role of head coach. Dormon, who has been with the club since June 2013, was elevated after successfully acquiring his CAF Licence A, signalling a new phase of leadership at the Accra-based outfit.

Announcing Parker Hanson’s appointment earlier this year, the club stated:
“Dreams Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Fiifi Parker Hanson as the new Assistant Coach ahead of the 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League season.
Fiifi Parker brings valuable experience and a strong tactical presence to the technical team.”
Before joining Dreams FC, Parker Hanson served as head coach of Golden Kicks FC, where he guided the side to an impressive run to the final of the 2024/2025 MTN FA Cup, earning widespread admiration for his tactical intelligence and disciplined approach.
He was expected to work closely with the head coach to drive performance, enhance player development and shape a clear team identity ahead of the new Ghana Premier League campaign.
Parker Hanson is also the co-founder of Sporting Club Accra, a lower-tier side noted for its strong youth development programme. The club has produced several top talents, including Black Stars attackers Kamal Sowah and Kwabena Owusu.
Dreams FC are yet to issue an official statement on his departure or announce a replacement.
Meanwhile, ahead of the new season, the club also suffered another setback with the departure of their goalkeeper coach, Sani Mohammed.
The former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko goalkeeper declined to renew his contract with the ‘Still Believe’ club, bringing his tenure to an end before the start of the campaign.
These exits underline a period of significant transition within Dreams FC’s backroom staff as the club continues to channel some inconsistent results in the Ghana Premier League season.
