Ghanaian left-back William Dankyi Ntori will not be joining Tanzanian Premier League side Tabora United, as previously anticipated. The deal has officially collapsed following the breakdown of final negotiations between the player’s representatives and the club.

Sources close to the discussions reveal that both parties could not reach an agreement on key contractual terms, including salary structure and performance-related clauses. Despite progressing to the final stages of the transfer, the deal fell apart late in talks, prompting the club to pursue alternative options.

Dankyi, enjoyed an impressive campaign with Bibiani Gold Stars, playing a pivotal role in the club’s historic 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title triumph. His consistent performances throughout the season drew interest from several clubs both locally and abroad.

While the move to Tanzania is now off the table, Dankyi is reportedly keen on securing a deal that guarantees regular playing time and aligns with his career ambitions.

His next destination is expected to be finalised in the coming weeks as the 2025/26 season draws near.
