Goldstars have announced the appointment of Frimpong Manso as the new head coach of the club.

Manso takes over from Micheal Osei who sacked from the club on Wednesday.

Manso is returning to the dugout few days after parting ways with Tano Bofoakwa.

The former Ghana international has been tasked to turn the fortunes of the club following a streak of poor results.

The Miners are winless in their last nine games in the Premier League losing three and drawing in the process.

Goldstars sit 16th on the League standings with 16 points after 13 games.
