Reports suggest that Ghanaian goalkeeper Frederick Asare is currently in Durban, South Africa, undergoing a five-day trial with Durban City FC, in what could lead to a potential contract signing. This development follows the 26-year-old’s recent departure from Ghanaian football giants Asante Kotoko.

Asare, a reliable and experienced shot-stopper, enjoyed an impressive campaign last season with Asante Kotoko, recording seven clean sheets in 15 Premier League appearances. His consistent performances have drawn the attention of not only Durban City but several other clubs as well.

The FA Cup winner has also reportedly been offered to Rwandan side APR FC and Tanzanian outfit Singida Black Stars, highlighting the broad interest in securing his services.
