The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed experienced FIFA referee Daniel Nii Laryea to officiate the Ghana Premier League Matchweek 22 fixture between Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday, 15 February 2026.

Laryea will be assisted by Paul Atimaka and Seth Abletor as assistant referees one and two respectively, while Gideon Nii-Cofie has been named as the fourth official for the highly anticipated encounter.

Asante Kotoko head into the fixture in strong home form, having won three of their last five league matches at their home ground and drawn the other two. Notably, they have conceded just once in those five games. In the reverse fixture earlier this season, the Porcupine Warriors secured a 1–0 victory over Hearts of Oak in Accra.

Historically, Kotoko hold a slight advantage in the Ghana Premier League rivalry, recording 41 wins to Hearts of Oak’s 38 since 1958.

Sunday’s meeting will be the 120th league clash between the two Ghanaian giants. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:00pm on Sunday, 15 February 2026.
