The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially announced that the transfer window for the 2025/26 football season will close at 11:59pm on Sunday, 31 August 2025.

The window, which opened earlier in the summer, has allowed Premier League and Division One clubs to strengthen their squads ahead of the new campaign. With just days remaining, teams across the country are expected to intensify transfer activity as they look to finalise deals before the deadline.

The GFA has urged clubs to ensure that all transfer documentation is completed and submitted through the FIFA Connect system before the cut-off time, stressing that no late registrations will be entertained.

The transfer period has already witnessed several high-profile moves, with both established stars and emerging talents switching clubs as part of preparations for the new season. Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Dreams FC, and Medeama SC are among the clubs actively reshaping their squads, while newly promoted sides such as Hohoe United are also making key additions to remain competitive.

The closure of the window will set the stage for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, which kicks off in early September. Fans can expect an exciting campaign as clubs unveil their new signings in competitive action.
