Ghana Boxing Resumes Work Following Ministerial Endorsement of Reforms
Ghana Boxing is set to move forward as the Interim Management Committee (IMC) resumes operations, following the Sports Minister, Hon. Kofi Adams, endorsement of an extension for ongoing reforms.

This was confirmed by the Director-General of the National Sports Authority, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, who said:
“The extension granted to the IMC will allow them to fully implement their roadmap, focusing on grassroots development, athlete welfare, and restoring Ghana’s prominence in international boxing.”
A new President for Ghana Boxing is expected upon the successful completion of the reforms, described by insiders as “the icing on the cake” of the roadmap, which aims to usher in a new era of stability and professionalism for the sport.
