Assistant referees of the Ghana Premier League are undergoing intensive training ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The programme, which combines both physical and theoretical sessions, is aimed at enhancing their fitness levels, sharpening their knowledge of the Laws of the Game, and improving the accuracy and consistency of their decision-making on the pitch.

Organisers say the exercise will help raise officiating standards, reduce errors, and ensure a fair and credible start to the new campaign. It is also expected to strengthen the confidence of clubs, players, and supporters in the integrity of match management as the Premier League kicks off.
