Ghana Premier League: Medeama coach Ibrahim Tanko prioritises goals against Eleven Wonders

Head coach of Medeama SC Ibrahim Tanko has targeted more goals in their match against Eleven Wonders on Sunday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

Medeama, who sit second on the league table are away to a struggling Eleven Wonders in a week nine fixture and Medeama head coach, Ibrahim Tanko spoke ahead of the game.

“We’ve been practicing goal scoring this week. I hope we get the goals against Eleven Wonders this weekend. We are a ball playing team, and we are not changing anything in our game against Wonders. We hope to win or get a point out there” he told the club’s media.

The former Ghana Premier League champions have gathered five wins, three draws and one loss as they occupy second on the table with 18 points, one point adrift of log leaders, Aduana FC.

The biggest fixture of the weekend will see record Ghana Premier League holders Aante Kotoko hosting two time champions Aduana FC at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday.
