Ghana’s Joseph Paintsil included in MLS Team of the Week

1

Ghanaian international, Joseph Paintsil has been named in the team of match-week 32 of the 2025 Major League Soccer season in the USA following his impressive performance for LA Galaxy.

The 27-year-old was unplayable and in the thick of things for the Galaticos over the weekend in their emphatic 4-1 mauling over Sporting Kansas City.

Paintsil made the team of the week cut on the back of his outstanding display having netted a hattrick – with all goals coming in the first department of the game.

He made the list alongside other ten players who excelled in the last round of matches including former Tottenham Hotspur attacker Heung-min Son.

Joseph Paintsil has 17-goal involvements so far this season with 14 goals and 3 assists in all competitions.

He is expected to make Otto Addo’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic and Comoros next month.
