Ghanaian sprinter Sulemana Fulera has advanced to the final of the Women’s 200m at the maiden edition of the African School Games in Algeria.

Competing in Heat 2, Fulera put in a solid performance to finish second with a time of 25.25 seconds, earning her a well-deserved spot in the final.

The rising sprint talent is representing Ghana at the inaugural continental multi-sport event for secondary school athletes, which brings together some of Africa’s most promising young competitors.

Her qualification marks a significant moment for Ghana’s athletics contingent at the Games, as they aim to make a strong impression on the track.
