Renowned Ghanaian politician and minister for Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, allowed his passion for football to shine through when he paid a surprise visit to his Club, Karela United during their pre-season training camp in Sunyani.

The Member of Parliament for Tamale South, who also serves as Ghana’s Minister for Education and President of the club, is a lifelong football enthusiast and an ardent Liverpool supporter. His presence at the camp felt natural rather than ceremonial, as he interacted freely with players and technical staff, sharing his love for the game while offering words of encouragement.

Hon. Iddrisu’s visit brought an atmosphere of excitement and unity, as the team bonded over food, football, and insightful discussions. He urged the players to remain disciplined, committed, and focused on achieving success in the upcoming campaign.

The visit has been described as timely and inspiring, with many believing it will serve as a major source of motivation as the team prepares to face the challenges of the new season. His show of support not only boosted morale but also reinforced the players’ determination to give their very best for the club.
