Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe Appointed to FC Samartex 1996 Board of Directors

Ghana Premier League side FC Samartex 1996 has officially named Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, as the newest addition to its Board of Directors.

The appointment, confirmed in a letter dated July 5, 2025, acknowledges Hon. Gyan Cudjoe’s vast experience in business and finance—skills the club believes are essential to strengthening its strategic direction and ensuring long-term financial sustainability.

In a formal communication addressed to the MP, the club expressed its confidence in her ability to contribute meaningfully across its senior, youth, and female teams.

> “We at Samartex believe that with your business and financial acumen and experience, you would be a vital and focal contributory factor to achieving the club’s targets and ambition, as well as financial sustainability measures to be implemented,” the club wrote.

Hon. Gyan Cudjoe’s inclusion marks another step in Samartex’s broader vision of professionalising club administration and deepening community ties through strong governance.

The club expressed optimism that her presence on the board will contribute significantly to its “history-making journey.”
