I don’t have anything bad to say about Manchester United- Marcus Rashford after joining Barcelona

England forward Marcus Rashford has officially joined Spanish giants FC Barcelona on a one year loan deal from Manchester United.

The deal was announced on Wednesday, July 23 after several weeks of speculations linked the two parties in the wake of Rashford’s exile at Old Trafford and the Blaugrana club missing out on signing Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams who decided to sign a new deal with Athletic.

Speaking in an interview as a Barcelona player, the Manchester United Academy product stated that he nothing bad to say about the Red Devils despite tensed nature of his exit from the club.

“The situation with United is the club is in a period of change and they have been for a while so I have don’t have anything bad to say about Manchester United I think it’s been an important part of not only my career but my life and I’m grateful for the opportunity to play for them but football is the same as life and nothing everything goes as simple as you may have thought” Rashford said.

Rashford endured a frustrating time at Old Trafford under former Man United manager Erik Ten Hag before playing out the second half of the 2024-2025 season on loan at Aston Villa.
