Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) boss, Kwesi Appiah has revealed that he will soon enter academia.

The former Wa All Stars bankroller has been out of football administration since the premiere of the Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ #12 football expose.

However, the former former 1st Vice CAF president speaking in an interview hinted that he will soon become a university lecturer.

According to him, it is something that he loves and will soon acquire the needed skills for it.

“I am aiming to be a lecturer soon,” he told Accra-based Starr FM.

“I’ll be entering into academia. I want to become a doctor in academia and a lecturer.

“That is what I want to do and I will do that soon,” he added.

Kwesi Nyantakyi remains the only Football Association president who qualified the country for three successive Fifa World Cups in 2006, 2010 and 2014 in Germany, South Africa and Brazil respectively.

Under his auspices, the Ghana U-20 team became the first African country to also win the World Cup.
