Mohammed Kudus expressed his delight after making a decisive impact in Tottenham Hotspur Premier League opener against Burnley, where he set up Richarlison to score twice in a 3–0 victory.

“The most important thing was securing the three points, and we managed to do that,” Kudus reflected after the match. “As a winger, one of my main responsibilities is to create chances and provide service for the strikers. I wouldn’t say it was the perfect cross, but he made me look good by finishing it off.”

The Ghanaian playmaker, who has quickly become a favourite among the London Stadium faithful with his flair and attacking intent, emphasised his desire to give supporters something to cheer about.

“I came here to entertain the fans, because that’s what football is all about,” Kudus added. “The energy from the stands pushes us to give more, and I want to make sure they enjoy every moment when they come to watch us.”
