Former Black Stars defender Lee Addy has been appointed Head of Scouting for Ghana and Africa by leading football agency Virtus International, owned by Serbian super agent Goran Milovanovic.

Addy began his professional career with Nania FC before establishing himself at Berekum Chelsea, where his performances earned him moves to European sides Red Star Belgrade and Dinamo Zagreb. He represented Ghana at the 2010 FIFA World Cup and was at one stage strongly linked with a transfer to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
In his new role, Addy will be responsible for identifying and mentoring emerging talent across the Ghana Premier League, Division One League, schools competitions and community tournaments. His appointment is expected to strengthen pathways for promising players across Ghana and the wider African continent to secure opportunities in Europe.
Virtus International has facilitated several high-profile transfers, including moves for Daniel Opare to Real Madrid and Dominic Adiyiah to AC Milan, and has previously worked with established Ghanaian internationals such as Sulley Muntari and Michael Essien.
Addy’s appointment is widely regarded as a significant boost for talent development in Ghana and across Africa, reflecting continued confidence in the continent’s footballing potential.
