Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have announced the signing of Richard Owusu to bolster their squad for the 2025/26 season’s campaign.

Owusu has joined the Yellow and Mauves lads on a three-year contract after passing a mandatory medical examination earlier today.

The club’s official statement reads: “Medeama Sporting Club is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Richard Owusu on a three-year deal,”.

The talented midfielder is elated with his move to Medeama SC and looks forward to playing a key role for the club in the 2025–26 campaign and beyond.

The acquisition of Owusu comes after Medeama SC terminated their contract with midfielder Gideon Quaison over the weekend.

Owusu becomes the third signing of the Tarkwa-based club after securing the signatures of Fuzy Taylor and Henry Nyarko.
