Moses Mbila Named Team Captain for Ghana Ahead of CAA U18/U20 Championships in Nigeria
Ghanaian sprinter Moses Mbila has been appointed captain of Ghana’s athletics team for the upcoming 3rd Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) U18/U20 Championships, set to take place in Nigeria.
The young and promising Ghanaian contingent is poised to make a mark on the continental stage, with Mbila leading the charge in the U20 100m event.
Joining him on the track are:
Tettey Philip Odjer – 200m & 400m
Saabuno Evans – 1500m
Boateng Appiah Alex – 100m & 200m
Arthur Mahalaleel Kwasi – 110m hurdles
Opoku Godfred – 200m & 400m
The female squad also features exciting talent, including Janet Kwarteng, Esther Manu, Latifah Haruna, and Jane (full name yet to be confirmed).
The team is expected to compete with determination and pride as they represent Ghana on one of Africa’s biggest youth athletics platforms.
