National Sports College Pledges Sporting Support at 2026 Aboakyer Festival Launch

The Director of the National Sports College, Winneba, Mr Fuseini Bawah, together with members of the College’s management team, honoured an invitation from the Omanhen of the Effutu Traditional Council, Neenyi Ghartey VII, to attend the official launch of the 2026 Aboakyer Festival.

Addressing the gathering, Mr Bawah expressed the College’s delight at once again participating in the revered annual celebration. He reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to supporting the festival through a range of sporting activities, including triathlon, athletics relays, boxing and marathon events, which have been incorporated into this year’s programme.

He noted that the National Sports College remains dedicated to promoting sports development while contributing meaningfully to community and cultural initiatives within Winneba and beyond.
