Chief Executive Officer of Nations Football Club, Kennedy Boakye-Ansah, has confirmed the club will not stand in the way of Razak Simpson should a suitable offer be made for the talented midfielder.

Simpson, the captain of Nations FC, has attracted considerable interest from both domestic and international clubs following a series of outstanding performances in the Ghana Premier League.

His consistent displays earned him a call-up to the Black Stars, Ghana’s senior national team, and saw him crowned Home-Based Footballer of the Year at the 2024 Ghana Football Awards. He also picked up the Goal of the Year accolade at the same ceremony.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports, Boakye-Ansah stated:

“Teams are hunting for his signature. We’ve had offers from clubs in Romania and Albania, and even some local sides have made enquiries. We’re simply waiting for the right offer.
We won’t place any obstacles in his way—he has served the club exceptionally well, and once the right deal comes in, we’ll let him go.”

The Nations FC CEO, who was only recently appointed, emphasised the club’s commitment to supporting the progression of its players while maintaining a competitive squad.
