Former Asante Kotoko right-back Christopher Nettey has completed a move to Zimbabwean giants Dynamos FC as he looks to revive his career with a fresh challenge in the Southern African nation.

The experienced Ghanaian defender joins the Harare-based club ahead of the new domestic campaign, adding depth and experience to the side widely regarded as one of the most successful teams in Zimbabwean football.

Nettey previously enjoyed a notable spell with Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League, where his pace, defensive discipline and ability to support attacks from the right flank made him a key member of the Porcupine Warriors’ squad during his time in Kumasi. His performances earned him recognition as one of the dependable full-backs in the league.

At Dynamos FC, the Ghanaian defender is expected to bring leadership and experience to the backline as the club seeks to strengthen its squad in pursuit of domestic success and a return to continental competition.

The move also highlights the growing presence of Ghanaian players in leagues across Southern Africa, with Nettey hoping his switch to Harare will provide the platform to re-establish himself and contribute significantly to Dynamos’ ambitions this season.
