Referees from the Northern Zone have successfully completed their mandatory fitness assessments ahead of the forthcoming football season. The exercise, held under the supervision of the Referees’ Committee, tested the officials’ physical endurance, agility, and overall readiness to handle the demands of the game.

According to organisers, the tests form part of the Ghana Football Association’s efforts to ensure that only referees who meet the required standards will be appointed to officiate in competitive fixtures. Several referees expressed satisfaction with their performances, noting that the assessment provided the right motivation to maintain peak condition before the season kicks off.
