Ogum and Adarkwa Represent Ghana at WAFU Zone B U17 Coaching Seminar in Abidjan

Dr Prosper Nartey Ogum and Joe Nana Adarkwa are currently in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, representing Ghana at the WAFU Zone B U17 Coaching Seminar.

The seminar, which has brought together youth coaches and technical experts from across the West African Football Union (Zone B), is focused on enhancing coaching standards at the grassroots level. Participants are engaging in intensive workshops, tactical presentations and practical sessions designed to align youth development structures with modern football trends.

Dr Ogum and Adarkwa are contributing to discussions on talent identification, player development pathways, sports science integration and contemporary tactical approaches in youth football. The programme also provides a platform for technical exchanges, collaboration and the sharing of best practices among member associations.

Ghana’s participation underscores the country’s commitment to strengthening its youth football structures and investing in capacity-building initiatives aimed at securing long-term success on the continental and global stage.
