Parin FC, a Division Three side based in Tantra Hills, Accra, continue to assert their growing dominance in the Accra North District League after recording a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Nima Kings at the Borstal Institute AstroTurf on Saturday.

The Tantra Hills outfit entered the encounter with confidence and took the lead in the first half courtesy of an own goal by Nima Kings defender Samson Essah, who inadvertently turned the ball into his own net under sustained pressure from the Parin FC attack.

Nima Kings restored parity early in the second half from the penalty spot, setting the stage for an intense, end-to-end contest as both sides pushed relentlessly for the winning goal.

With the game finely poised, it became increasingly clear that a moment of brilliance—or a mistake—could decide the outcome. Parin FC’s leading scorer rose to the occasion, reacting swiftly to a goalmouth scramble to slot home the decisive goal in the latter stages of the match.

The victory lifts Parin FC to nine points from a possible 12, placing them in a strong position to mount a credible challenge for the league title if they can sustain their current form throughout the season.

Head Coach Eric Nyarko expressed his delight with the team’s performance but acknowledged the need to sharpen their efficiency in front of goal, noting that improved scoring could make the difference in their title ambitions.
