Parin FC strengthened their grip on top spot in the Accra North District Football Association (ANDFA) Division Three League with a commanding 3–1 victory over African Kings in their second-round encounter.

The win not only consolidates Parin’s position at the summit but also avenges their 2–1 defeat to the same opponents in the league opener earlier this season.

Determined to make amends, Coach Eric Nyarko’s side approached the fixture with renewed intensity and purpose. From the opening whistle, Parin asserted control, dominating possession and dictating the tempo through a well-organised midfield spearheaded by the tireless Raphael Tetteh and Robert Ankrah.

Parin’s early pressure paid dividends when Jones Adu Baah broke the deadlock in the first half with a composed finish, setting the tone for the afternoon. Tetteh then took centre stage, producing two superb strikes before the interval to give the hosts a comfortable 3–0 lead at half-time.

The second half saw Parin maintain their structure and discipline, effectively managing the game while limiting African Kings’ attacking opportunities. Despite their efforts, African Kings struggled to break through Parin’s resilient defence until the closing stages, when Mustapha Ibrahim netted a late consolation goal.

The final minutes were largely dominated by African Kings as they pressed forward in search of another goal, but Parin’s defence held firm with crucial clearances to preserve the two-goal advantage until the final whistle.

The result lifts Parin FC to 28 points, keeping them firmly at the top of the league table and strengthening their credentials as strong contenders for promotion. With momentum firmly on their side, Coach Nyarko’s men will be confident of maintaining their impressive run as the season progresses.
