Another week is here and once again here is a comprehensive wrap up of how some Ghanaian players in Europe performed over the weekend for their respective clubs.

ENGLAND 

Kudus Mohammed enjoyed 80 minutes of action for Tottenham Hotspur in their emphatic 3-0 loss to Nottingham Forest at the City Grounds

In the Championship, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku netted a puskas-like goal after hitting from his own area into the net beyond the reach of the goalkeeper in a 3-1 win over Ipswich Town.

Ex- WAFA star Forson Amankwah enjoyed 80 minutes of action for Norwich City in their precious 2-1 home win over Southampton.

Darko Gyabi was a second half substitute for Hull City in their 1-3 away win at Millwall.

James Abankwah featured for Watford who drew 2-2 away at Wrexham. Kwadwo Baah was out with injury

Kwame Opoku was an unused substitute for QPR in their 3-1 defeat away at Middlesbrough.

In the League 1, Daniel Kyerewaa, Kelvin Abrefa and Andy Yiadom all featured for Reading in their 2-0 away loss at Bradford City.

Brendan Sarpong-Wiredu was brought on in the second half for Plymouth Argyle in their narrow 1-0 win over Rotherham United.

In the League 2, Jojo Wollacott watched on from the bench for Crawley Town in their 2-2 draw against Oldham Athletic.

Albert Adomah came on in the 69th minute for Walsall who got held by Shrewsbury Town to a pulsating 1-1 draw.

SPAIN

In the La Liga, Inaki Williams played in the second 45 minutes for Athletic Club in their 2-0 away defeat at Celta Vigo. Joseph Aidoo was out for the host with injury.

Kwesi Sibo didn’t make the match-day squad for Real Oviedo who were humbled by an emphatic 4-0 against Sevilla.

In the La Liga II, Oscar Naasei Oppong started on the right for Granada who lost 1-0 away at Sporting Gijon.

Iddrisu Baba Mohammed was an unused substitute for UD Almeria in their 1-2 home defeat to Burgos CF

GERMANY

In the Bundesliga, Hamburger SV were pummelled 4-1 by TSG Hoffenheim. Ransford Yeboah Konigsdorffer enjoyed full throttle for the losing side.

Ernest Poku played 62 minutes for Bayer Leverkusen in their 2-0 home triumph over FC Cologne.

Ilyas Ansah scored and Derrick Kohn also featured for Union Berlin in their 3-1 win over RB Leipzig.

Nikolas Nartey played all minutes for Stuttgart in their 0-3 away win at Weder Bremen.

In the Bundesliga II, Kofi Amoako was in action for Dynamo Dresden in their 2-3 loss to Eintracht Braunschweig.

Maxwell Gyamfi played all minutes while Richmond Tachie were all in action for FC Kaiserslautern who held Arminia Bielefeld to a goalless draw. Benjamin Boakye also featured for the host

Patric Pfeiffer lasted the entire duration for Darmstadt in their slim 1-0 win over Preussen Muenster

Christopher Antwi Adjei played 45 minutes for Shalke O4 who won 1-0 over Nuremberg.

ITALY 

Kamaldeen Sulemana was out with injury in Atalanta’s 2-1 win over Cagliari Calcio.

In the Serie B, Alfred Duncan made a cameo appearance for Venezia who won 2-0 away win over AC Monza.

Emmanuel Gyasi was an unused substitute for Empoli in their slim 1-0 win over UC Sampdoria.

FRANCE

Alidu Seidu made a cameo appearance for Stade Rennais who won 3-1 over Brest.

Terry Yegbe played 74 minutes for FC Metz who lost 2-3 at home to champions Paris Saint German.

Gideon Mensah was brought on in the second half for AJ Auxurre in their 3-4 home defeat to Lille. Ibrahim Osman warmed the bench for the host.

Samson Baidoo lasted all minutes for RC Lens who won 2-0 home win over OGC Nice. Both Kojo Peprah Oppong and Salis Abdul Samed all featured for the visitors.

Samuel Amo-Ameyaw played all minutes for Strasbourg who drew goalless to FC Lorient. Nathaniel Adjei watched on from the bench for the visitors.

Mohammed Salisu lasted the entire minutes for AS Monaco who lost narrowly by 1-0 to Olympique Marseille.

In the Ligue 2, Ghanaian duo Dennis Appiah and Augustine Boakye all featured in Saint-Etienne’s 2-2 draw against SC Bastia. Ebenezer Annan didn’t make the squad

HOLLAND 

In the Eredivise, Telstar drew 2-2 to NEC Nijmegen. Tyrone Owusu lasted all minutes for the homesters.

Denis Odoi and Kamal Sowah all enjoyed full throttle for NAC Breda who drew 1-1 to FC Utrecht.

TURKEY

Jesurun Ram-Sakyi featured for Rizespor in their 3-0 win over Prince Obeng Ampem’s Eyupspor.

Aaron Opoku played all minutes for Kayserispor in their goalless draw against Alanyaspor.

Nicholas Opoku lasted the entire duration for Kasimpasa who got held to a pulsating sraw at home against Gençlerbirligi.

Emmanuel Boateng enjoyed a full-time action for Gaziantep FK who lost 0-1 at home to Goztepe.

Daniel Agyei also lasted all minutes for Kocaelispor who drew 1-1 away at Fatih Karagumruk

Jerome Opoku operated on the right for Istanbul Basaksehir who also won 0-2 away win at Samsunspor

Nelson Abbey lasted 79 minutes for Rio Ave who lost 0-1 at home to Vitoria de Guimaraes with ten in the Primeira Liga.

BELGIUM 

In the Jupiler Pro League, Lawrence Agyekum played 73 minutes for Cercle Brugge who suffered a 2-3 home defeat to KV Mechelen.

Joseph Opoku was on target for Zulte Waregem in their pulsating 2-2 draw for Raal La Louviere. Jerry Afriyie played 80 minutes for the visitors.

Davis Opoku made a cameo appearance for OH Leuven in their 0-1 away win at Standard Liege.

Desmond Acquah warmed the bench for FCV Dender who suffered an embarrassing 1-5 home loss to giants Club Brugge.

In the Challenger League, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen watched on from the bench for KAS Eupen who won 2-1 at home over Club NXT U23.

In the Swiss Super League, goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi was in the thick affairs for St Gallen in their 0-2 away win at FC Thun

Tyron Owusu lasted the entire duration for Luzern who lost 2-0 away at FC Young Boys.

Jonas Adjei Adjetey enjoyed full throttle for FC Basel who drew goalless to Lausanne.

In the Challenge League, David Acquah and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh all played a part in FC Aarau 2-1 triumph over Etoile Carouge.

AUSTRIA 

In the Bundesliga, Beres Owusu lasted the entire duration for Grazer AK in their 1-2 defeat to LASK.

Paul Mensah warmed the bench for BW Linz in their 1-1 draw against Rapid Wien.

Edmund Baidoo played 58 minutes for RB Salzburg who won 2-1 at home to Eric Ofori Agyemang’s Wolfsberger AC.

Kelvin Boateng came off the bench for Austria Wienn who won 3-1 over Sturm Graz.

SERBIA

In the Superliga, Douglas Owusu converted a penalty for Radnik Surdulica who drew 1-1 away at FK Cukaricki.

Ibrahim Tanko and Benjamin Acquah all featured for Javor who drew 1-1 against Radnicki 1923.

Both Edmund Addo and Henry Addo all featured in OFK Beograd in their goalless draw against Vojvodina. Ibrahim Mustapha warmed the bench for the host.

Kwaku Karikari lasted all minutes for Zeleznicar who won 1-0 at home to IMT

Former Black Satellites captain warmed the bench for FK Partizan in their 3-2 win over Napredak.

Kudu Shama Abdul was an unused substitute for Spartak Subotica in their pulsating draw against Mladost.

Skima Togbe played all minutes for Novi Pazar in their 1-0 win over Radnicki Nis.

CZECH REPUBLIC 

In the 1st Ligue, Dennis Owusu was in action for Banik Ostrava in their 1-4 defeat to Pardubice.

Benjamin Nyarko came on in the second half for Teplice in their 1-0 win over Slovacko.

Prince Kwabena Adu provided an assist for Viktoria Plzen in their 2-0 win over Dukla Praha.

GREECE

In the Greek Super League, Baba Abdul Rahman was brought on in the second half for PAOK who lost 2-0 to Atromitos.
