With most of the European leagues still on break, we still managed to put together a comprehensive article on how some Ghanaian nations in Europe and beyond performed over the weekend for their clubs.

ENGLAND

On the foreign front, Antoine Semenyo has been the talk of town following his sensational switch to Manchester City and topped up with a goal and assist on his debut to pick man of the match in a 10-1 win over Exerter City in the FA Cup. Ryan McAidoo was also on target for the victors.

Jordan Ayew was a second half substitute for Leicester City while Abdul Fatawu Issahaku was not in the squad in their 0-2 away win over Cheltenham Town.

Rafiq Lamptey was brought on in the 66th minute for Milwall in their 5-1 defeat to Premier League side Burnley.

Iddrisu Baba Mohammed lasted the entire duration for UD Almeria in their pulsating 2-2 draw over Mirandes.

Oscar Naasei Oppong enjoyed full throttle for Granada in their goalless draw against Castellon.

GERMANY

In the Bundesliga, Sirlord Conteh played 83 minutes for Heidenheim in their 2-2 draw for FC Cologne.

Ransford Yeboah Konigsdorffer made a cameo appearance for Hamburger SV who suffered a 2-1 loss away at Freiburg.

Jayden Owusu-Oduro was in goal for AZ Alkmaar while Ibrahim Sadiq was at the bench for AZ Alkmaar in their 1-0 win at home over FC Volendam.

SAUDI ARABIA

Christopher Bonsu Baah enjoyed 87 minutes of action for Al Qadsiah in their 1-2 crucial away win over Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.

GREECE

In the Super League, Baba Abdul Rahman played a part in FC PAOK’s emphatic 0-3 away win over Panetolikos.
