0 6

Coach Noel Aduba, President and Head Coach of Footnoel Soccer Academy/FC, is leading a renewed drive to develop young female footballers with the skills, discipline and confidence needed to excel in modern football. With teams from the Under-6 to Under-19 levels, he has become a strong advocate for girls’ participation and empowerment through sport.

At the core of his philosophy is the belief that success requires sacrifice and determination.

“I always tell the girls that nothing great comes without commitment. Hard work and self-belief will take them far,” he says.

Coach Aduba is committed to turning locally trained girls into globally competitive talents, ensuring that even the least-experienced player gets the chance to grow into a valuable and effective footballer.

Under his guidance, the girls’ team is adopting a possession-based, tiki-taka style of play designed to improve their decision-making and technical ability. He also prioritises regular playing time for young players to build confidence and accelerate their development.

Although maintaining long-term motivation among young athletes can be challenging, Coach Aduba remains dedicated to nurturing each girl from the foundation stage upward.

“It takes a lot to build them, so keeping them inspired is very important,” he explains.

With unity, discipline and a strong learning culture blossoming within the squad, Coach Aduba is helping shape a bright future for the girls of Footnoel Soccer Academy—developing not just players, but confident athletes ready to take on the world.
